**About the role**

The Customer Service Officer is required to work within the Elective Surgery Information System (ESIS) guidelines and the Elective surgery Access Policy (Department of Health and Human Services). A commitment to patient centred care and a focus on the patient’s journey is required to ensure that the right care is provided, at the right time and place. Customer Service Officers in Elective Admissions have a multi-faceted role that include: Front of House functions including meet and greet of patients, admission of patients to GV Health and reception duties; Back of House functions with roles covering waiting list data entry and history prepping. This role will have a major focus on auditing of the waiting lists.
