- Full time maximum term position up to 18 months
- This position is a parental leave backfill
- Salary range: $89,029
- $104,924 plus super
- Up to $15,900 in salary packaging, flexible hybrid work arrangement About the role In this role, you'll lead a team of administrative staff, ensuring everything runs smoothly and we meet our service goals. You’ll oversee staff performance, recruitment, training, and creating schedules. You will also manage the office budget, facilities, and provide legal support. Additionally, you will represent VLA externally, attend seminars, and liaise with stakeholders to support the organization’s goals and community initiatives. Location This role is based at our Shepparton office on Yorta Yorta and Bangerang Country. Why Shepparton? - Proven ability to lead and develop a diverse team, promoting a team-oriented and positive work environment.
- Strong background in administration and problem-solving, with the ability to manage resources effectively.
- Demonstrated capacity to learn quickly, perform under limited direction, and work collaboratively to foster a supportive team culture.
- Empathy for clients and strong communication skills for working with legal professionals and the public.
