IT Manager (Shepparton)

Watters Electrical Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead the management and advancement of our information technology systems and infrastructure. This role is integral to ensuring the seamless operation of IT services that support our diverse operations in electrical, data, communications, and security services. Working closely with our external IT provider, you will drive strategies to enhance operational efficiency and deliver creative solutions tailored to our business needs.

**What You’ll Be Doing**
- Developing and implementing ICT strategies and policies to meet business goals and operational needs.
- Managing and optimising IT systems, networks, and infrastructure to ensure reliability and efficiency.
- Collaborating with project managers, field teams, and our external IT provider to integrate and improve IT solutions across all service areas.
- Providing hands-on technical support, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining system security and compliance.
- Driving innovation by identifying and implementing new technologies to enhance productivity and efficiency.

**What We’re Looking For**
- **Experience**: 8+ years in IT management or a related leadership role, with experience in service-based industries or similar environments.
- **Technical Expertise**: Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, and infrastructure management, including cloud technologies and security best practices.
- **Collaboration Skills**: Ability to work effectively with external IT providers to manage IT functions and deliver aligned solutions.
- **Problem-Solving**: Strategic thinker with a proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex IT issues.
- **Communication**: Strong interpersonal skills for working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- **Regulatory Knowledge**: Familiarity with compliance requirements and industry standards relevant to electrical, data, communications, and security services.
- **Education**: Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

Pay: $115,000.00
- $125,000.00 per year
