As a Hospitality Manager for our Residential Aged Care Home in Shepparton South, you'll lead high-quality hospitality services that create a warm, home-like environment for residents, families, and staff. This role reports to the Service Manager and oversees catering, housekeeping, and laundry services to ensure excellence in every detail. Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage catering services to deliver exceptional hospitality.
- Oversee and cook meals and lead food service, ensuring residents enjoy nutritious, varied meals that meet all health and safety regulations.
- Ensure presence on the floor for smooth operations and great customer experience.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented environment that supports staff development and high-quality service.
- Collaborate with suppliers and manage resources efficiently within budget.
- Ensure housekeeping and laundry services are efficient, effective, and compliant with all policies and standards.
- Drive continuous improvement to enhance the resident experience. What you'll bring You're a solid leader with a passion for people and service excellence. To thrive in this role, you'll have:
- Relevant qualifications with previous experience as a Chef or Cook.
- Hands‑on leadership with the ability to lead by example in the kitchen when needed.
- Strong leadership skills with proven experience managing and coaching large teams.
- Experience in preparing and cooking for large groups.
- Skills in menu coordination and tailoring meals to diverse dietary needs.
- Knowledge of OHS, food safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience managing housekeeping and laundry operations.
- Aged care experience is desirable; all relevant training provided. You’ll also need to provide (or be willing to obtain)
