Opal Packaging is an industry-leading packaging business across Australia and New Zealand. We have an exciting opportunity for a Machine Setter to join the team at our Shepparton site.

Working closely with the production supervisor, some of the responsibilities of this role include:

- Monitor machines during operation to ensure smooth and efficient performance
- Set up and adjust machines for production runs, ensuring optimal settings for the specific materials and processes
- Upholding safety standards in the workplace and around machinery
- Machine setting and tooling
- Finding faults on carton erecting machines, which can vary from mechanical, electrical, pneumatic

For this role we would ideally like you to have:

- A trade background as a fitter or mechanical related discipline
- Experience working in a manufacturing or warehousing environment would be beneficial (but is not essential)
- An agile mindset and a reliable work-ethic
