Job Title Second in Charge (2IC) Service Location & Hours Service Location: Wyndham Vale Work Across Split Shifts, Monday to Friday Before School Care: 6:30
- 8:35am After School Care: 2:25
- 6:30pm Total Hours: 30.83 per week Role Overview As the 2IC, you will be a key leader in delivering high‑quality care and creating memorable experiences for children. You will support the Director of Service and work in a fast‑paced environment. Responsibilities
- Engage with the school community, attending events and assemblies.
- Assist with the creation and implementation of enriching experiences based on children’s preferences.
- Foster genuine relationships with children and families.
- Play and create fun activities with primary school‑aged children.
- Ensure program compliance with industry regulations. Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in before/after school care or education is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Thrives in a rapid‑paced environment and has a child‑like spirit.
- Confident communicator with children, parents, team members and school principals.
- Strong team player with excellent problem‑solving skills and a can‑do, positive attitude.
- Passionate about creating enriching experiences for primary‑aged children.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and loves to have fun.
- Relevant Diploma qualification (equivalent or working toward it) as per ACECQA standards.
- Successful candidates must complete mandatory National Child Safety Training through Geccko before commencing employment. Benefits
