We are seeking a agile Clinical Area Educator for our Children and Adolsecent Unit to support staff and students with education and training.

The Clinical Area Educator is primarily a teaching and practice resource to facilitate best practice clinical care from all Nursing and Midwifery staff and students in the Children & Adolescent Unit. The Clinical Area Educator assists in the provision of high-quality clinical orientation to staff, students and graduates; facilitates conversion of theory to practice; completes evaluation and promotes the skilled development of all staff.

This role will require

Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration

Minimum of 5 years clinical paediatric nursing experience

Tertiary qualification in Paediatric nursing or similar

Sound organisational skills with attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills
