Machinery Supervisor - GV Independant Packers (Shepparton)

GV Independent Packers Pty Ltd is a family owned and operated business since 1948, with over 1,500 acres of orchards within the Goulburn Valley region producing a range of apples, pears and stonefruits for supply to the national market and for export. Our company oversees the entire journey of our produce, from production, storage, packing, marketing, and transportation. GV Independent Packers Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time Machinery Supervisor on our site in Shepparton, Victoria 3630. The salary offered is $79,499 per annum plus superannuation. Job duties and responsibilities include:
· Perform machinery maintenance.
· Operate machinery and equipment.
· Supervises and coordinates employees who operate machines.
· Prepares work schedules, assigns work, and oversees the work.
· Ensures machine operation is done correctly.
· Monitors and evaluates production records and reports. The applicants will have the following skills and experience:
· At least a relevant AQF Diploma or equivalent, alternatively, relevant 3 years of work experience may substitute the formal qualifications.
· Previous work experience as a Farm Mechanic or Farm Equipment Maintenance Supervisor in within Agriculture/Horticulture is highly desirable.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Knowledge and experience of agricultural production principles.
