Heavy Vehicle Diesel Technician (Shepparton)

As a result of exciting growth within our service department, we are seeking experienced Heavy Vehicle Technician to join our team at CMV Truck & Bus Shepparton working with Volvo, Mack, UD and various other makes of trucks and engines. This role is being offered on a full-time permanent basis, working Monday to Friday with rostered Saturday work. Responsibilities
- Repairs, service and inspections to engines, gearboxes, brakes, diffs etc. on a wide range of trucks, buses and trailers.
- Diagnostic analysis using the latest diagnostic software and computer equipment
- Produce clear and concise reports detailing all work carried out on repair orders including supplies used and recommendations in a prioritised order
- Provide support and guidance to Apprentice technicians
- VicRoads roadworthy inspections
- Mechanical and hydraulic works along with auto electrical and fabrication work Qualifications
- Minimum Certificate 3 in mechanical trade certificate/qualification
- Experience in the Heavy Vehicle industry
- Experience with American, European or Japanese drivelines will be highly regarded
- Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a customer focused team
- Current HC/HR drivers licence an advantage but not essential
- Pride in your work with an ability to work to targets and high standards
- High levels of motivation, reliable with a can‑do, positive attitude
- Effective communication skills with a commitment to workplace safety
