- THE ROLE**

We are looking for an enthusiastic Customer Service Officer to engage with and meet the requirements of customers and tourists both from Council’s Administration Centre and our Visitor Information Centre.

To be successful in this role you must have:

- Demonstrated ability to deliver a positive customer experience with a can-do attitude and an eye for detail.
- A passion for delivering projects and programs to enhance visitor / tourism experiences throughout Singleton.
- Be an integral part of our dynamic Customer Service Team and contribute to relationship building with local tourism operators and community members.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.
- Exceptional organisation and time management skills and an ability to work well under pressure.

Previous experience in Local Government or a relevant qualification in customer service or a related field would be an advantage.

This position is offered on a **term contract, full-time** basis working **35**hours per week on a 7-day rotating dayshift roster until February 2026.

Remuneration package for this position is based on **Grade 7** of Council's Salary System Protocol which equates to a base salary of **$63,955
- $71,941** per annum plus 11.5% superannuation.
