Maintenance Technician
- Competitive base salary $142,000 + 12% superannuation + 5% short‑term incentive bonuses paid yearly

- Excellent job security with an ASX 100 global commercial explosives company The Role To safely and successfully deliver daily maintenance requirements plans / KPI’s in accordance with company values, legislation and HSEQ procedures. In addition, the Maintenance Fitter will lead maintenance execution in line with health, safety and quality programs relating to the maintenance functionality that are performed on site. To be competent in the role, you will need:
- Mechanical trade certification – Diesel/Mechanic
- Volvo Equipment Experience – nominally rigid trucks
- SAP or similar experience (preferred)
- Auto electrical experience
- Heavy Rigid vehicle licence (preferred)
- Dangerous Goods licence (preferred)
- NSW police clearance (UHL)
- Forklift Ticket (LF) (preferred) What you’ll bring Your good problem‑solving abilities will showcase a well organized, collaborative philosophy. - Workshop experience with heavy mobile fleet maintenance
- Demonstrated experience with European prime movers (Volvo advantageous)
- Mechanical trade certification (dual trade automotive and auto electrical advantageous)
- Auto electrical experience backed with strong diagnostic aptitude
- Experience in hydraulic and pneumatic circuitry and control systems
- Ability to plan, manage and control material, contractor and employee resources
- CMMS experience – SAP advantageous
- Ability to obtain NSW security clearance (UHL)
- Hold HR licensing (advantageous)
- Excellent problem solving / troubleshooting skills, and ability to prioritise duties

Operating on a 5/2 weekday roster, this workshop‑based position supports maintenance activities across the Warkworth, United Wambo, and Wilpinjong sites. Our well‑equipped Warkworth facility provides full access to OEM tooling, diagnostic software, and structured maintenance systems to support a fleet of Volvo road trucks.
