HR Truck Driver – Smithfield | $39/hr + Overtime | Full-Time Hours Our client, a leading international manufacturing and distribution company, is currently seeking experienced HR Truck Drivers to join their growing team based in Smithfield. Position Details
- Location: Smithfield, NSW
- Shift: Monday to Friday
- Start Time: Between 6:00am – 7:00am
- Pay Rate: $39 per hour + overtime penalties
- Work Type: Ongoing casual with temp-to-perm opportunity Key Responsibilities
- Operating Heavy Rigid (HR) flat-bed trucks
- Delivering plasterboard, steel beams, and building products
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Securing loads using straps and load binders
- Completing deliveries across Sydney Metro and Central Coast regions
- Assisting with warehouse duties including pick packing when required
- Maintaining compliance with fatigue management and load restraint regulations About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A current HR Truck Licence
- Experience driving manual synchro gearbox trucks
- Minimum 2 years’ HR driving experience
- Proven experience transporting and handling long loads
- Strong knowledge of:
- Fatigue Management
- Load Restraints
- Chain of Responsibility (COR)
- Current RMS Driver History Report
- Good knowledge of Sydney Metro, Central Coast, and Wollongong areas
- A strong work ethic and reliable attitude
- The ability to lift up to 25kg
- Own reliable transport
- Flexibility to work overtime and occasional weekends
