**About the Centre/Service**

Perry Street Child Care Centre and Elizabeth Gorman Memorial Kindergarten Inc is a 50 place, Community based, not-for-profit early childhood education centre with an integrated three
- and four-year-old funded kindergarten program. The Perry Street Philosophy is used as a guide for decision making, as a mirror reflecting our values, and as a celebration of the strengths of children. The current Philosophy consists of three parts; a Statement of Vision, Statement of Principles and Statement of Action. In combination, these are the foundation to a method for which our community strive to create each day. As children are central to what we do, voices from our kindergarten children are woven throughout our Philosophy, highlighted in italics. A full copy of our Philosophy can be found on the website. **Qualifications**

Qualifications and Experience:
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Current Mandatory Reporting and Child Protection training certificate
- Current Employee Working With Children Check
- Current Police check
- First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training
- A passion for Early Childhood Education and community
- Excellent communication skills
- Positive commitment to teamwork and working collaboratively
- Proficient computer skills
- Proficient reading and writing skills
- An understanding of EYLF and VEYLDF
- Ability to plan and be able to create learning environments that are educational, challenging and inspiring for children of all ages

**Requirements**: WWCC

**Additional Requirements**

Up to date mandatory reporting training
