Position Overview: The Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Smithfield e-waste facility. This role ensures the facility operates efficiently, adheres to environmental regulations, and consistently meets production targets. The Supervisor manages a team of workers and coordinates activities to maximise productivity, uphold safety standards, and achieve business goals. Responsibilities: Production Management
· Plan, organise, and oversee daily production activities to meet output targets
· Maintain production tracking records to evaluate work quality, productivity.
· Monitor and ensure the quality of production activities and the purity of the final product.
· Lead continuous improvement initiatives in production procedures, work environment, and the utilisation of tools and equipment. Inventory and Logistics Management
· Oversee inventory control processes, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimising discrepancies.
· Coordinate with the Business and Logistics teams to manage stock-taking, inward and outward activities. Team Development
· Lead and organise training sessions, such as GMP, to enhance team skills and knowledge.
· Coordinate with other departments to organise toolbox meetings and additional training as required.
· Manage team administration work, including attendance tracking, leave applications, and scheduling.
· Conduct performance evaluations and facilitate regular communication with team members to provide feedback, set goals, and address any concerns.
· Maintain a professional and respectful workplace environment by ensuring team members comply with the Employee Code of Conduct, company policies, and expected standards of behaviour. Compliance Management
· Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure all production processes comply with industry standards and regulations.
· Enforce company policies to ensure compliance with HSE and HR regulations. Health, Safety & Setting Champion a safety-first culture across the facility, ensuring all team members adhere to HSE policies and procedures
· Conduct regular site inspections, hazard identifications, and risk assessments
· Investigate and report workplace incidents, near misses, and non-conformances promptly
· Ensure the safe handling, storage, and processing of e-waste materials in line with regulatory requirements. Qualification:
· Minimum education level: Certificate IV in a related field, including Production Management, Warehousing, Logistics, Engineering.
· Full work rights in Australia.
· Valid driver’s license (required).
· Valid forklift driver license (required). About You
· Minimum 2 years of experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar role.
· Ability to lead, motivate and manage a diverse team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members and senior management.
· High level of accuracy in monitoring inventory, overseeing administrative tasks, and ensuring quality standards.
· Experience with Microsoft office, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
