Practice Manager We’re looking for a passionate and driven Practice Manager to lead our incredible team at 1300SMILES Smithfield – a busy, modern dental practice where no two days are the same. Job Description As Practice Manager, you’ll play a key role in overseeing daily operations, supporting the clinical team, and fostering a collaborative, high‑performing workplace culture. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the practice to ensure efficiency and high standards of care
- Lead, support and develop the front office and clinical support teams
- Manage staff rostering, leave planning and daily workflow coordination
- Deliver exceptional patient service and handle escalations professionally
- Support the clinical team to ensure smooth appointment flow and patient experience
- Monitor and manage administrative processes, including billing, reporting and compliance
- Drive team engagement, performance, and a positive workplace culture
- Work closely with senior leadership to achieve business and operational goals Qualifications
- A confident and adaptable leader with proven experience in team leadership or practice management
- Dental or medical sector experience is preferred but not essential
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships
- Comfortable giving and receiving feedback and supporting team development
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Solid understanding of financial management, including budgets, sales targets, utilisation and P&L;
