- Reliable, long-term opportunity with a business that has stood the test of time since 1951 About the Role We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our manufacturing facility in Fairfield East. You'll be working with a range of converting equipment supported by a fully equipped workshop. Hours: 7:30am – 3:30pm | 8 hour shift | Monday to Friday
- Paper sheeting machines
- Printing presses
- Die cutters
- Laminators
- Milling machines and lathes What You'll Be Doing
- Carrying out preventative maintenance programs
- Attending to machine breakdowns promptly and efficiently
- Diagnostics and troubleshooting across a range of manufacturing equipment
- Welding and fabrication work as required
- Working overtime or weekends when required About You Essential:
- Fitting & Machining trade qualification (Australian recognised)
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a maintenance fitting role
- 2–3 years' experience in a manufacturing production environment
- Welding and fabrication skills
- Available to work overtime or weekends when required
