Our facility is located in the greater Sydney area and serves both local and international markets.

**Position Overview**

We are seeking a highly motivated Production Manager to lead and manage our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for the end-to-end planning, organisation, supervision, and optimisation of all production activities, ensuring compliance with relevant food safety regulations (HACCP, FSANZ) and company targets. You will have full management authority over production personnel, equipment, materials, and processes.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement weekly, monthly, and annual production plans to meet output targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Oversee the complete manufacturing process, including batching, cooking, depositing, cooling, demoulding, and packaging, ensuring strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Collaborate with the R&D; team to scale new product formulations from pilot to full production.
- Implement and maintain comprehensive QA/QC systems to ensure all products meet specifications and client expectations.
- Lead, manage, and motivate the manufacturing team, including conducting performance reviews, facilitating training, and supporting professional development.
- Manage production budgets and control costs; oversee raw material procurement and inventory levels.
- Enforce Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) policies, lead safety audits, and manage risk mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure effective preventive maintenance and timely equipment repairs, reducing downtime.

**Qualifications & Skills**
- Minimum 5 years of experience in food manufacturing, preferably in gummy or confectionery production.
- At least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role with a proven ability to lead teams and manage budgets and production workflows.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making capabilities under pressure.
- Proficiency in production management methodologies and Continuous Improvement.
- Competent in using ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Sound understanding of relevant food safety (HACCP, GMP, FSANZ) and WHS requirements.
- A tertiary qualification in a related field is preferred, and years of relevant experience may also be considered..
