Driver/warehouse Assistant (Wetherill Park)

Use your **MR driving** (must have MR licence)and warehousing experience in this varied and exciting chance to join Tasty Fresh Food Co. and see where you can go within our business!

From our **Wetherill Park** depot, you will be first in line to support our current driver who does a nightly run to our production depot in Newcastle to collect the stock for our 26 lunch vans that service our customers at their workplaces in the Western suburbs of Sydney.

When not driving your time will be spent with our warehouse crew who are responsible for cleaning and stocking these lunch vans ready for their time out on the roads the following morning. Previous warehouse experience is great, but if not, we are happy to support and train. If you have the drive and commitment, we have the opportunity for you!

- Nearly **$34 per hour** casual adult rate + penalties
- Shift length **6-8 hours**, working 15-30 hours per week
- Monday to Friday shifts with availability to work between the hours of **5:30pm
- 3.30am**:

- Potential for further hours to be offered, so **flexibility**to take on more is highly regarded

**Role tasks and opportunities**
- Driving at night to early morning between **5.30pm
- 3.30am** supporting current driver
- Driving from **Wetherill Park to Newcastle** return trip
- **Voice picking** stock for shelves and orders
- training provided
- **Stock** rotation and **quality** control measures
- **Washing vans** to sparkly clean and some detailing
- Practicing cleanliness and **safety at all times**:

- Some data entry and other **ad hoc** tasks as required to keep it interesting!

- You have a current **Australian NSW MR drivers licence** and **forklift licence
- both essential**:

- Reliable car and licence to get to and from the depot
- Australian work rights are needed
- You are comfortable and competent **lifting up to 25kg** intermittently without assistance
- Being a physical role, you are confident to competently **bend, lift, twist, stretch and reach** upwards and downwards frequently without discomfort
- You are a **strong communicator** and able to positively interact
- You have good basic level computer knowledge to update our system as required
