Maintenance Supervisor, RME (Horsley Park)

DESCRIPTION Join Amazon’s growing Reliability, Maintenance & Engineering (RME) team as a Maintenance Supervisor at our brand recent site opening in Horsley Park, NSW.

Our RME team is central to Amazon's commitment to innovation. As Amazon evolves and adapts, this team makes sure that the tools and technologies we use do as well. As a Maintenance Supervisor you'll help us stay one step ahead, adopting the latest technologies and identifying current and efficient ways of working. In this role, you’ll pay close attention to our processes to help maintain our high standards, and you’ll put in place upgrades to take that standard even higher.

The Maintenance Supervisor is the shift lead for a team of up to 10 Technicians (fitters and electricians). During each shift, you'll lead the team in executing preventative maintenance to maximize equipment uptime. You'll maintain a strong focus on safety by monitoring processes and procedures to ensure compliance with all regulations and policies.

Key job responsibilities


- Lead and Motivate: Supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing strategic guidance and professional development
- Develop and implement comprehensive preventative maintenance programs and facility compliance strategies
- Act as an ambassador for safety within the team and to promote safe working across the site
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot complex facility systems and automated equipment
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build robust relationships across organizational levels and participate in strategic leadership meetings BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- A full Engineering Apprenticeship qualified to a minimum of Certificate III or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subject formally recognised in Australia including valid licence when required (i.e. unrestricted electrical licence).
- Leadership experience supervising multi-trade teams
- Experience working in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance
- Relevant experience in automation or material handling equipment environments
- Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) to plan proactive maintenance and record reactive tasks. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
