Equans Electrical and Communications is expanding and is looking for an ambitious and driven individual with electrical/data comms to launch our data centre capability.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our exceptionally skilled national team in a data centre delivery capacity where you can grow the business and build your own team.

**The Opportunity on Offer**

This is an opportunity for you to step into a data centre delivery role, where you can build your own team and vision for the Equans Data Centre business.

Equans are looking for someone with the drive and ambition to grow the data centre business within Equans from inception to success, with an initial focus on small project works (e.g., hall fit outs, etc.) valued between $10k & $1m, all with a view to growing over time to provide our clients with a significantly larger data centre offering.

**About You**
- Have a pro-active attitude to safety and promote a safety first culture.
- Ability to build strong working relationships with project stakeholders.
- You work in an operational capacity, in a supervisor, estimator or project manager role.
- You have management experience or are ready to take that step up into a project management role.

- You are ambitious and have the energy and drive to source and deliver new works.
- You will be well presented with good communication skills, excellent rational and logical skills and an even demeanour.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- A-grade licensed electrician.
- Open cabling registration (with structured endorsements) preferred.
- Previous experience working as a supervisor, estimator or project manager.
- Previous work in a delivery role and people leadership experience required.
- Familiarity with data centre infrastructure, including communications and power reticulation and distribution, grounding data hall configurations and rack layout and labelling systems.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards, including NEC (National Electrical Code), Australian Standards and local regulations.
