Join **Capral Aluminium **as an Environmental, Social & Governance Advisor, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing our management systems and compliance framework.
We are seeking a motivated individual who is currently pursuing a Masters degree or PhD in Environmental, Social & Governance or a closely related field.

**PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Champion ESG awareness, sustainable practices, and a culture of safety
- Undertake safety audits and safety walks to verify assurance systems are applied and identify opportunities for improvement against audit outcomes
- Develop and implement programs, training and business safety plans to ensure compliance to regulatory and corporate requirements
- Compile regular reports and detailed analysis of safety and environmental information (i.e.: injury and incident details, hazards reports, training records, etc.) enable targeting of programs, training and improvement plans
- Comprehensive analysis of sustainability data required reporting standards
- Compile reports for in-depth analyses of safety and ESG data
- Conduct risk assessments of existing site / region activities and proposed new or changed activities identify potential risk exposures and appropriate prevention and mitigation measures
- Maintain up to date knowledge of HSE matters including legislation and industry practices
- Encourage safety professionals to implement agreed directives within their area
- Take full accountability for personal safety and well-being, promote an understanding of risk minimisation and be committed to achieving the highest possible standards for Safety, Health and the Environment (SH&E;)
- Other key accountabilities appropriate to the banding of the position as determined by the manager of the role.
**SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE** **ESSENTIAL**
- Tertiary qualifications in ESG, Data Science, Safety, or a closely related field of study is desirable
- Some knowledge of legislation & regulations related to ESG, Workplace Health & Safety & Environmental practices
- Ability to demonstrate a strong focus and results orientation towards world's best practice methodologies
- Proven work experience in management systems, compliance, & data science
- Proficiency in data science and the ability to leverage data for informed decision-making
- Results-orientated with a strong commitment to world-class ESG methodologies
- High-level analytical skills & the ability to manage competing priorities effectively
- Autonomy in work & a commitment to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality
- Willingness to travel locally and interstate as required by** Capral.**
