MR Truck Driver (Wetherill Park)

We have a vacancy for an experienced driver to join our team based in Wetherill Park. The role will be Monday
- Friday, starting at 4.30am and includes attendance incentives The position also allows for 12 weeks thoughout the year of shortened hours for the same weekly pay. As a delivery driver you will be responsible for the safe, effective, accurate and timely loading and delivery of customer orders. Your new role will include:
- Working with other team members to prepare orders and load your vehicle
- Delivering food products to our customers in the Sydney metro area
- Being responsible for a set run servicing the same customers daily or weekly
- Developing and maintaining good relationships with customers by providing professional and friendly customer service.
- Ensuring the truck is kept clean and tidy and maintained properly
- Ensuring work is performed to HACCP and WH&S; standards. About Us Islander Foodservice is a family owned food distributor and has been in business for over 30 years. We are one of Sydney’s premier food distributors supplying cafes, restaurants, takeaways and school canteens About You We are looking for an experienced and motivated truck driver with a minimum MR license and an impeccable driving history. This role will suit an experienced driver who is organised, results driven and looking for a long-term opportunity. We are ideally looking for the following key skills:
- Significant experience as a driver in the Sydney metro and surrounds
- A current Australian MR driver's licence is essential
- A strong work ethic and good physical fitness
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
