We are looking to employ a highly skilled and experienced Civil Estimator to join our team. As a Civil Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our civil construction projects, working with both government sectors and private developers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive cost estimates for civil construction projects.
- Analyzing project plans, specifications, and contract documents.
- Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and clients to gather project requirements.
- Identifying and quantifying project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment.
- Utilizing estimating software and tools to prepare accurate and competitive bids.
- Preparing detailed cost breakdowns and construction schedules.
- Monitoring industry trends and market conditions to ensure competitive pricing.
- Reviewing subcontractor quotes and negotiating pricing agreements.
- Providing guidance and mentorship to junior estimators.
- Preparing methodologies and construction programs for the tendering phase
- Reviewing tender submissions Requirements: To be considered for this position, you should have the following qualifications and experience:
- Minimum of Three years of experience as a Estimator in the civil construction industry.
- Solid knowledge of civil construction processes, materials, and cost estimation.
- Familiarity with government sector projects.
- Proficiency in using estimating software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
