- $90,000 plus superannuation The Role We are seeking a strategic and driven Procurement Manager to lead our supply chain and purchasing operations. Reporting to the Leadership Team, you will be responsible for directing the end-to-end procurement process, managing key supplier relationships, and ensuring our inventory and distribution strategies align with Krost’s business objectives and operational requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing: Determine, implement, and monitor purchasing, storage, and distribution strategies and policies for commercial furniture and related materials.
- Supplier Negotiation: Negotiate contracts with domestic and international suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliable delivery timelines.
- Cost & Inventory Management: Prepare and implement comprehensive plans to maintain optimal stock levels while strictly minimizing supply chain costs.
- Systems Operations: Manage digital recording systems to track the movement of supplies, components, and finished goods, ensuring re-ordering occurs efficiently.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with internal departments, external clients, and transport partners concerning requirements for outward goods and forwarding transportation.
- Leadership: Direct and oversee the activities of procurement staff, managing team performance and daily workflows.
- Compliance: Oversee the accurate recording of all purchase, storage, and distribution transactions. Qualifications & Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Commerce, or a closely related discipline.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant, post-qualification full time experience in a procurement or supply chain management role.
- Demonstrated experience in contract negotiation, inventory control, and strategic purchasing.
- Solid leadership skills with experience directing team activities.
