**About the Role**
- We have an exciting opportunity for a**Machine Operator to join our Arnott’s Virginia team. This role is perfect for someone experienced in operating machinery within a fast‑paced environment and who prides themselves on remaining calm, focused, and solutions‑driven.
- You will be responsible for operating packing machinery on the line and feeding product on the band, ensuring consistent performance and quality across our production processes. **What your day looks like**:
- Set up, changeovers, operating and troubleshooting of equipment within Arnott’s OH&S;, Quality and Performance Standards
- Maintain smooth operation of packing machines and feeding stations
- Complete quality control checks throughout the shift
- Uphold GMP, HACCP and hygiene standards, ensuring all process areas remain clean and compliant
- Work both autonomously and collaboratively to meet daily production requirements
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities within the team
**The Ingredients for Success**:
- Just like you can’t make a Tim Tam without chocolate, there are a few essential ingredients we need for this role:
- Previous machine operating experience in an FMCG environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and confidence troubleshooting machinery
- Understanding of team, safety, and quality operating principles
- Knowledge of 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles (advantageous)
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment
- A continuous improvement mindset
- Solid performance and attendance record
- High attention to detail
