Office Administrator – Full Time Location: Virginia, Brisbane Company: Pet Angel Funerals About Us: Pet Angel Funerals is a family-owned pet crematorium servicing Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and the Gold Coast. Due to growth, we are seeking a dedicated Office Administrator for our Brisbane location. Join our team of friendly professionals who are passionate about supporting pet owners and pride themselves on delivering exceptional customer service during a very emotional time.
Key Duties:
- Perform general office duties
- Answer incoming calls
- Liaise with customers, including making arrangements for deceased pets
- Coordinate daily office tasks, including scheduling collections and deliveries
- Communicate with staff and prioritise collections
- Process payments and invoices
- Handle customer and vet inquiries via phone and email
- Manage emotional customer interactions at reception and over the phone Qualities We Are Looking For:
- Previous customer service and administrative experience
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Compassionate and caring demeanour with an excellent phone manner
- Proficiency in Microsoft & MAC OS programs and excellent computer skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail while following systems
- Motivation to work independently in a busy environment
- Ability to handle emotional situations with empathy and professionalism
- Knowledge of the Gold Coast and Brisbane areas
- Ability to coordinate multiple drivers in a rapid-paced environment
- Experience with Xero (preferred but not essential)
- Compassionate nature and a love for animals
- Flexibility to assist in both admin offices as required As a small family business, we value teamwork and a willingness to support one another across all areas of the business. Ideally, we’re looking for someone who is open to learning other aspects of the role, including (but not limited to) assisting in the care centre by helping assemble cherished pets into their chosen memorial products. Handling cremation proceedings and deceased pets in a caring and dignified manner.
