**Who are we looking for?**
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Maintenance Supervisor to lead our small maintenance team. Reporting to the Production Operations Manager, a key focus of this role is the planning, implementation and managing of maintenance schedules with the intention of preventing breakdowns and minimising downtime. You will be integral in supporting our commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement as we look to implement a new ERP in 2025.
**About You**
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
- Experience working in a supervisor role with scheduling/coordinating responsibilities with a focus on prioritising operations
- Sound maintenance knowledge
- Strong problem solving skills with outstanding attention to detail
- An ability to lead and build team cohesiveness
- An ability to work well under pressure and prioritise to meet Company needs
- Previous project management experience desirable
**Key responsibilities**
- Develop and maintain daily and weekly schedules based on Company requirements
- Review FIXX and job requests and allocate to the maintenance team, optimising for the most efficient daily and weekly schedule
- Coordinate the maintenance team and external trades for completion of allocated jobs
- Maintain consumables and spare parts inventory in FIXX
- Procurement of parts for scheduled jobs following financial delegation
- Communicate schedule updates with relevant stakeholders, ensuring everyone is aware of any changes or adjustments
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to plan and optimise resource job requirements
- Ensure preventative maintenance is performed in accordance to schedule
- Ensure maintenance budget and spend is controlled and identify cost reduction initiatives
- Monitor project progress against established schedules, identifying and communicating any delays or issues that may arise
- Approve weekly timesheets and manage leave for the maintenance team
- Responsible for providing reports, data and relevant updates to the Company as required
