Broad role
- repairs, preventative maintenance & continuous improvement projects

We also supply our produce to the international market. We are recruiting for a permanent Maintenance Fitter to work within an experienced Maintenance Team performing repairs and preventative maintenance to our packing lines to ensure the efficient running of production. You will also perform tasks relating to continuous improvement projects.

Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager you will have

the ability to work in a fast paced environment

relevant trade qualifications

valuable fabrication skills (MIG,TIG and STICK)

hydraulics /pneumatic qualifications or experience

familiarity with recording data on MEX or equivalent computer aided programs

an understanding of Lean Principles

the ability to work under strict WHS guidelines

the ability to trouble shoot and work proactively as part of a team

sound experience in fault finding and rapid breakdown response

the ability to communicate on all levels

the ability to work well in a team setting and be self-motivated

access to reliable transport

Desirable

experience in a fresh food produce environment or similar

a restricted electrical disconnect / reconnect license will be highly regarded but not essential

forklift license
