- Are you a driven and motivated Maintenance expert looking for a role with continued learning and growth opportunities in the exciting industry of Consumer Healthcare? As _**_Maintenance Technician _**_in our Maintenance & Engineering team, you will be joining a collaborative environment where no day is the same. _Your role is to ensure planned preventive and predictive maintenance tasks are completed according to the maintenance schedule and production schedule, in accordance with Australian and Industry standards, GMP Code and HSE procedures and practices. The position will be based on a monthly shift rotation. 3 weeks of day shift from 6am to 2pm, then 1 week of afternoon shift from 2pm to 10pm. Some Weekend O/T may be required._

**Main responsibilities**:

- _ Perform maintenance on services throughout the plant_
- _ Contribute to team effectiveness through participation and cooperation._
- _ Respond to site maintenance requests and equipment failure according to priority set by urgency and importance._
- _ Action requests for unplanned improvement work completed in accordance with agreed plans and timeframes._
- _ Support line operators with machine set up, running adjustments, advice and guidance_
- _ Involvement in introduction, commissioning and validation of equipment is conducted as required_
- _ Assist with design and manufacture of any recent process improvements_
- _ Involvement in site lean initiatives_

**About you**

**Qualifications**:

- _ Trade Qualification in Mechanical Fitter/Machinist with a minimum of Certificate III or above_
- _ Restricted Electrical licence is desirable_

**Experience**:

- _ Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a Pharmaceutical or FMCG environment_
- _ Understanding of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems_
- _ Knowledge of general maintenance process and methods_
- _ Experience in Root Cause Analysis techniques, as well as CI methodologies, including; 5S and LEAN is desirable_

- _ Strong work ethic, ability to work independently and within a _team environment_
