We’re looking for a Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Assessor to join our team in Virginia, Brisbane. This role suits someone who can see the depth behind a person’s experience, ask the right questions, and confidently map practical knowledge against vocational qualifications. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their background, gather and review evidence, identify competency outcomes and prepare compliant RPL documentation. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys:

- Working as part of a collaborative team Administrative support is provided by our internal team. About you You’ll bring
- Experience in Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), vocational education, training, learning & development, recruitment or workforce capability
- Strong understanding of the Australian VET framework and competency-based assessment
- The ability to assess evidence thoroughly and make sound judgement calls
- Excellent communication and rapport-building skills
- A warm and professional approach with strong customer focus
- High attention to detail and confidence working with compliance-driven processes
- A practical, solutions-focused mindset
- A collaborative team approach Highly regarded While not essential, experience in one or more of the below will be highly valued:
- Defence
- Police or emergency services
- Business / leadership
- Work Health & Safety (WHS) As well as
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 / TAE40122 or equivalent)
- Diploma or higher qualifications relevant to your field
