- Casual opportunity We're on the look out for an energetic, suitably qualified, motivated Group Fitness Instructor. The Role Seeking a skilled Group Fitness Instructor with diverse experience in freestyle formatting. The ability to communicate and interact effectively with participants that have a diverse range of ages, abilities, cultures and needs is essential. Our ideal candidate will be able to create effective and engaging sessions for groups of 20 or more people, that focus on fun and social interaction. - Min Cert III in Fitness (or equivalent).
- Relevant program/specialisation accreditation.
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate.
- Current CPR Certificate.
- Working with Children's Check.
- Be prepared to undergo a National Police check as part of recruitment process.
- Must be available outside of business hours and weekends. Desirable
- Ausactive or Physical Activity Australia registration.
- Mat Pilates, Yoga and/or meditation.
- Les Mills Pump and/or Body Balance.
- Aerobics or exercise to music background. Skills & Attributes
- Applicant must have freestyle experience and creative flair, and have the ability to modify group classes for those with common musculoskeletal injuries.
- Strong understanding of human movement is required.
