Job Description

**Your Prospect to Join Our Team**

We are looking for dedicated and reliable **Pet Food Forklift Operator** to join our team. In this hands-on role, you will play an essential part in the production of high-quality pet food, contributing to every stage of the process — from raw material handling to packaging.

This is a great opportunity to join a supportive and fast-paced environment. While no prior processing experience is required (training is provided), a current **forklift licence** is **essential** for this role.

**Shifts Available**: We are currently recruiting for **morning shift** (5:00am
- 1:06pm) and afternoon shifts (1:30pm
- 9:30pm) with some flexibility required depending on production needs. Weekend work may be offered or required at times.

**Daily Tasks**
- Operate machinery and equipment to process raw materials into finished pet food products
- Safely load, unload, and transport materials using a forklift
- Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet company standards
- Package, label, and stack finished products for distribution
- Clean and maintain production areas and equipment
- Accurately complete production and safety documentation
- Follow workplace safety procedures, including PPE requirements
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets

**You Will Bring to This Role**
- A current and valid forklift licence (essential)
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks and lift up to 25kg
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends if required
