Cocoon International College, a CRICOS-registered and ASQA-approved Registered Training Organisation (RTO) based in Woolloongabba, is seeking an experienced and committed Quality & Compliance Officer to lead our compliance and quality assurance functions on a full-time basis.
We deliver nationally recognised qualifications to both domestic and international students. This role plays a vital part in ensuring ongoing compliance with the Standards for RTOs 2015 while supporting the organisation's transition to the upcoming Standards for RTOs 2025, effective from July 2025.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance frameworks aligned with RTO and CRICOS standards
- Oversee internal audits, validations, and external audit readiness
- Review and update training and assessment materials in line with national training package requirements
- Guide and support the transition to the Standards for RTOs 2025
- Deliver internal training to staff on compliance obligations and quality standards
- Monitor student feedback and contribute to continuous improvement strategies
- Prepare and submit compliance reports, including QI reports and AVETMISS data
- Maintain version-controlled documentation and audit-ready records
**About You**:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40122)
- A qualification in education, compliance, or quality assurance is highly regarded
- Strong knowledge of the Standards for RTOs 2015 and familiarity with the upcoming Standards for RTOs 2025
- Experience working in RTO and CRICOS environments with a sound understanding of ASQA, ESOS Act, and National Code
- Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable using LMS and compliance-related systems and tools
