Local HR Driver – (DRI )

This role is full‑time or casual and suits a customer‑focused, self‑driven operator with a passion for delivering no matter the obstacle.

The Job

Versatile with varied working hours, including weekends and overtime with penalty rates. Start time and finish time as required.

Deliver high levels of service to our customers through effectively transporting general freight supporting the community.

Take responsibility for safely and securely loading and unloading a variety of freight, with some manual handling of parcel freight.

Complete daily vehicle inspections and necessary paperwork, including pre‑start checks, run sheets, PODs, and logbooks.

Operate a forklift or pallet jack to load and unload general freight (regional only).

Qualifications

Hold a current HR license and Forklift Ticket (LF) with proven experience operating a heavy vehicle for a minimum of two years.

Robust resilience and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to work within a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.

Passion for going the extra mile to provide high level service to all customers.

Effective communication with a diverse customer base.

Pass a pre‑employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen, and a criminal history check if required.
