The Opportunity We are now seeking a Resort General Manager to lead operations at our stunning Club Wyndham Mission Beach property. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a resort, build a high-performing team, and deliver exceptional guest and owner experiences in one of North Queensland’s most sought-after coastal destinations. How you’ll Shine This is a hands-on leadership role where you will take full responsibility for the performance and day-to-day operations of the resort. You will lead across all departments, drive financial and operational outcomes, and create a strong, service-led culture that reflects our brand. Key responsibilities include
- Lead all day-to-day resort operations across front office, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services
- Drive guest satisfaction and consistently deliver exceptional owner and guest experiences
- Manage budgets, financial performance, and operational KPIs
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team
- Partner with corporate teams to implement business initiatives and improvements
- Maintain strong relationships with Body Corporate, owners, and local stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and overall resort performance What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in hotel or resort management
- Strong operational knowledge across all hotel departments
- Experience managing financial performance, budgets, and reporting
- A confident, people-first leadership style with the ability to build engaged teams
