**The Company**
GMP Pharmaceuticals is one of the largest contract manufactures of health care and food products. We manufacture a wide range of dietary supplement products for both domestic and international markets.
**The role**: We are looking for a **casual **dispatch officer who will be supporting and receiving training with our team at Girraween.
**Job responsibilities**
- Receive and review customer orders, verifying product availability.
- Schedule shipments and prioritize dispatches based on delivery deadlines.
- Liaise with shipping companies, carriers, and couriers to arrange deliveries.
- Ensure goods are properly packed and labelled for dispatch.
- Verify that all outgoing shipments meet the quality and quantity specifications.
- Oversee the use of proper packaging materials to protect goods during transportation.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with the warehouse team to avoid stock shortages and overflowing.
- Track outgoing goods, ensuring accurate record-keeping including photos of containers, dispatch dockets, relevant forms and checklists
- Conduct a daily stock checks to update the system with real-time inventory data.
- Prepare shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists and Dispatch docket
- Maintain accurate records of dispatched goods and report any discrepancies.
- Work with Pronto systems and excel to track and manage shipments.
- Inspect goods before dispatch to ensure they are free from damage or defects.
- Inspect the batch number of each pallet to ensure batch numbers are not mixed.
- Address issues related to product quality, shortages, or errors in packaging to supervisor and manager
- Act as the liaison between the warehouse, freight forwarder, planning and customers
- Coordinate with the warehouse forklift drivers to ensure timely and accurate dispatch.
- Handle customer inquiries regarding shipments and delivery times.
- Ensure all safety standards are followed during the loading, dispatching, and transportation of goods.
- Ensure compliance with regulations related to shipping and transportation.
- Ensure vehicles and transportation equipment are in good condition for dispatch operations.
- Handle issues such as delays, damaged goods, or delivery disputes.
- Resolve logístical challenges that arise during the dispatch process.
**About you**
- Be willing to be trained across several areas
- Availability to work Monday
- Friday and ideally weekends if needed.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as valuable numeracy skills.
- Data entry skills
- Able to work independently
- Have a good eye for detail
- Must have exceptional problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in Dispatch is MUST
- **Speak mandarin (required)**
