We are looking for an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our busy bakery café.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone passionate about customer service, team management, food retail, and creating an outstanding in-store experience.

About the Role

As Retail Manager, you will oversee daily store operations, lead and support the front-of-house team, maintain presentation standards, manage rostering and stock control, and help drive sales and customer satisfaction.

You will work closely with management and production teams to ensure smooth operations, product availability, and a high-quality customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the bakery café
- Lead, train, and motivate front-of-house staff
- Deliver exceptional customer service standards
- Manage staff rosters and labour efficiency
- Monitor stock levels and place orders when required
- Maintain visual merchandising and store presentation
- Ensure food safety and cleanliness standards are maintained
- Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally
- Support sales growth and implement promotional activities
- Coordinate with bakery production teams regarding stock and product availability
- Open and close the store as required

Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in retail or hospitality management
- Bakery, café, or food industry experience preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with POS systems and cash handling
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- Flexible availability including weekends and early mornings

Pay: $77,000.00
- $85,000.00 per year
