About Location

Aegis Carrington offers premium accommodation in the latest of Care Facility designs to complement a vibrant community in caring for the elderly. This location ensures that a large variety of shopping and service options including restaurants and theatres in nearby Fremantle. Many 'day trip' venues are located close-by, providing a wonderful variety of choice for that special outing.

About You

You should ideally be an empathetic person who has:

A positive and friendly personality with a passion for assisting our Residents to maintain their quality of life.

The ability to engage with team members, other professionals, and a wide range of people with both a high level of verbal and written communication.

The capacity to inspire trust and enjoys interacting with the elderly.

A focus on delivering excellent customer service to Residents, their families, and other external parties.

Flexibility and can be available on short notice for diverse shifts across all days the week.

The role will be centred around providing a high-quality lifestyle for Residents that aligns with individual Resident choices and best practice. You will be making a real impact on Residents’ lives, by providing respectful and protected assistance with:

Daily and meaningful activities.

Medication administration.

Mealtimes in line with Aegis’ Excellence in Dining strategy.

You will need to have:

A certificate III in Aged Care (or higher/equivalent).

Full Australian working rights and able to pass a national police clearance.

Versatile availability

Preferably someone living in metro area.

Should have your own car and driving license.
