Senior Structural Engineer (Henderson)

We’re currently seeking an experienced Senior Structural Project Engineer to join a leading engineering and manufacturing business in Perth. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex structural steel projects across industrial, modular, and transportable infrastructure environments. About the Role: Reporting to the Lead Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering safe, compliant, and cost-effective structural designs while supporting projects through design, fabrication, and construction phases. You will work closely with project teams, designers, fabricators, clients, and consultants to ensure structural solutions are practical, buildable, and aligned with project requirements. Key responsibilities include:

- Structural analysis and design of steel structures in accordance with Australian Standards
- Reviewing and verifying structural drawings, models, and fabrication documentation
- Liaising with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders to resolve technical queries
- Supporting fabrication and construction teams with technical expertise
- Coordinating design deliverables, revisions, and approvals throughout project lifecycles
- Ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and engineering standards
- Assisting with lifting and rigging concepts for transportable structures where required We're looking for people who:
- Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Have 5–10+ years' experience in structural design and/or project engineering
- Possess strong experience designing steel structures
- Have a sound understanding of Australian Standards including AS4100, AS1170, AS1657, and AS/NZS 5131
- Are proficient with structural design software such as SpaceGass and/or Tekla
- Have experience working within industrial, modular, fabrication, mining, or infrastructure environments
- Possess strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
- Have an understanding of fabrication processes and structural detailing practices What's on Offer:
