We are looking for a passionate and engaging Percussion & Singing Teacher to join our team at the Neurodiverse Playhouse. This is a part-time position (3 hours per week to start), with the view to increase hours as our programs expand.
About the Role
Teach percussion and singing to children in a supportive, inclusive, and play-based workplace.
Work with individuals and small groups to foster creativity, rhythm, confidence, and self-expression.
Adapt lessons to suit neurodivergent learners, making music fun and accessible for everyone.
Collaborate with our team to create a protected and encouraging space for children to explore music.
About You
B. Ed and current registration
Background in music education, performance, or tutoring (percussion and voice).
Experience or interest in working with neurodivergent children (autism, ADHD, sensory profiles, etc.).
Patient, creative, and able to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles.
Excellent communication skills and ability to engage children in a fun, positive way.
