Medical Receptionist (Spring Hill)

Join our small Obstetrics & Gynaecology practice one to two day a week on Thursday & Friday's. Our team consists of one consulting Specialist, Dr Eva Kretowicz, and one other reception/admin staff. We offer our staff working arrangements to fit in with their family/personal life and the chance to make this position a job for life. This is a part time position with regular hours. We are looking for an experienced Medical Administrator to work Thursdays & Friday's, with the ability to cover annual and sick leave when required. This position is located at our rooms at "Alexandra" 201 Wickham Terrace, Spring Hill. Staff parking will be provided on site. To fill this role you will need to be a team player, have a friendly disposition to your colleagues and patients, be able to take and follow instructions, and be a self starter with regard to using your initiative and logic. Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
- Patient Co-ordination
- Reception duties
- Recording notes
- Arranging quotes & discussing fees
- Booking theatre cases & communicating with hospitals
- Data entry via genie medical software
- Private Health Fund billing
