Barista / All Rounder Amoroso Gelateria South Ripley – Providence Town Centre About Us Amoroso Gelateria is a new and exciting addition to South Ripley, serving handcrafted and artisan gelato, desserts, quality coffee and Toasties. We’re building a team that values outstanding service, teamwork, and a positive customer experience, and we’re looking for a confident and attractive team member to help set the standard from day one. Your Role In this position, you’ll take the lead during shifts while staying hands-on with daily service. You’ll be someone the team can rely on in busy periods and someone customers remember for the right reason.
- Prepare consistently high-quality coffee with attention to detail and speed
- Serve gelato to customers with care and great presentation.
- Prepare smoothies, shakes, and other beverages efficiently.
- Handle busy service periods with confidence and efficiency.
- Create a welcoming and genuine experience for every customer.
- Assist across all areas of the store, including food prep, cleaning, and register operations
- Keep the workspace clean, organised, and running smoothly About You
- At least 1 year experience in a café, dessert shop, or hospitality environment.
- Some barista experience (around 6 months or more) is preferred, but attitude matters just as much.
- Able to stay composed and productive during peak times.
- A strong team player with clear communication skills.
- Reliable and available to work weekends.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced café setting is highly valuedNatural leadership qualities or experience supporting a team is a bonus. Pay: $24.95 – $30.00 per hour Benefits:
