**Join Our Team as a Support Worker for a Marvel and Anime Enthusiast!**

**About the Role**: We are currently seeking a **Casual Disability** **Support Worker** to work with our Male client with Schizophrenia and ASD in **South Ripley.**

We’re looking for someone who understands the importance of creating a positive, engaging workplace for our client, who is a fan of Marvel, Anime, and computer gaming. As part of this role, you'll be supporting them in their home in **South Ripley**, helping with domestic tasks and overall well-being.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support client with day-to-day activities, including cooking and cleaning
- Encourage and engage in their interests, especially Marvel, Anime, and gaming
- Provide care in line with Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSP) and restrictive practices
- Assist with general well-being and support in a SIL (Supported Independent Living) setting

**_* Sleepover Shifts Available*:_**
- **Thursday** 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM (sleepover from 10pm to 6am)
- 6 hours
- **Saturday** 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM (sleepover from 10pm to 6am)
- 8 hours
- Additional shifts to cover leave and short notice also available

**Skills/Experience**:

- Certificate III in Disability or equivalent or at least 1 year relevant experience
- Experience in mental health support work
- Experience with schizophrenia and/or autism
- highly regarded

**Licences/Credentials**:

- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Valid driver's licence and vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Working with Children Check QLD / Blue Card
- NDIS Worker Screening Check / Yellow Card
- NDIS Quality Safety and You Certificate
- modules completed online
