- Tier 2) to join our team, supporting students to learn, grow, and thrive in a nurturing school community.
- Permanent part time (12–15 hours per week, negotiable) | Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care
- ESO Grade 3 | Qualified Tier 2 role, with pro rata salary in accordance with the CESA Enterprise Agreement

About the Role The OSHC Educator (Qualified – Tier 2) plays a vital role in supporting the delivery of high‑quality Before School, After School and Vacation Care programs for children from Reception to Year 6 during term time, and Reception to Year 7 during Vacation Care. Working under moderate direction and collaborating closely with the OSHC Director and other OSHC Educators , you will:
- Assist with planning, preparing and evaluating developmentally appropriate programs aligned with the National Quality Standards and the My Time, Our Place Framework
- Support children’s wellbeing, safety and individual care routines using active supervision practices
- Maintain accurate records, support administrative processes, and help ensure regulatory compliance
- Build positive relationships with students, families and colleagues
- Help maintain safe, well‑organised and engaging OSHC environments
- Support team members, volunteers and students on placement
- Assist with operational tasks including purchasing, equipment setup/pack up and fee‑related administrative duties
- Provide warm, skilled care and always uphold College values You will be rostered to work within the standard OSHC operating hours, which are Before School Care (7:00–9:00am), After School Care (3:00–6:00pm) and Vacation Care (7:15am–6:00pm) About You You are a positive, capable, and commit educator who:
- Demonstrates experience working in an OSHC or Early Childhood setting
- Understands the National Quality Framework, ACECQA regulatory expectations, and (or is willing to learn) the My Time Our Place Framework.
- Brings strong communication, teamwork and relationship‑building skills
- Uses sound judgement, maintains confidentiality and remains calm under pressure
- Is organised, proactive and able to work independently
- Has strong administrative skills, including confidence using Microsoft Office
- Models the Mercy Keys and contributes to a supportive team environment
- Demonstrates a commitment to ongoing professional learning For further information, please refer to the Position Description. Qualifications and Training: The successful applicant will be required to hold:
- A Certificate IV qualification or equivalent that meets ACECQA requirements for a Tier 2 Educator
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect (RRHAN‑EC) Fundamentals and Masterclass certification
