Your Role at Nextt:At Nextt, our disability support workers play a pivotal role in organising and executing daily activities for our clients, which includes providing personal care, assistance with domestic tasks, and facilitating community access.

We currently have a vacancy in the Ripley South Region of Brisbane for a Part Time Disability Support Worker working with our male client. Duties will consist of in home care and community access.

We have the following Permanent Roster available:

Tuesday 0600 to 1600

Wednesday 0600 to 1600

Friday 0600 to 1600

Saturday 1600 to 2200 with a sleep over once a month

With availability to cover other shifts outside these hours.

Your Skills and Experience:

Previous Experience in Mental Health Disability Support Work

Experience working with individuals who have Positive Behavior Support Plans; experience with challenging behaviors is highly regarded

Robust communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with peers and management staff

Ability to complete compliance documentation in a timely manner, such as shift reporting and daily tracking of food and fluids, as well as other reporting requested by management

Your Certificates and Licenses:

NDIS Workers Screening Check (Yellow Card)
- must be applied or current

Working with Children Check (Blue Card)

must be applied or current

First Aid and CPR Certificate

Australian Driver's License and access to a fully insured vehicle

All employees will be required to comply with mandatory directives as mandated within the relevant state or territory where they work.
