Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct care and support to clients by their individual care plans.

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

Support clients in household tasks including meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry.

Accompany clients to appointments, outings, and social activities, promoting community engagement and integration.

Monitor and record clients' progress, behaviours, and any changes in their health or well-being.

Administer medication as prescribed and ensure compliance with medication schedules.

Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies or challenging situations, following established protocols and procedures.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of care provided and any incidents or observations.

Requirements:

Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care, or a related field is preferred.

Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).

Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.

A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) and/or National Police Check (or ability to obtain).

Salary:

$60,000 to $70,000
