Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Instructor (Erina)

We are currently seeking an experienced Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Instructor who is professional, hard-working, passionate, dedicated and committed to promote the sport and encourage the development of students abilities at all times and coordinate the participation of students in competitions.

**Tasks & Responsibilities**:

- Teach Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (physical skills, as well as mental skills, ethics, values, respect, and discipline with students of various ages)
- Coaching, training and instructing students by analysing performances and developing abilities
- Explain techniques, rules, and strategies.
- Communicate with parents about kids progress or concerns.
- Preparing athletes mentally and physically before taking part in competitions.
- Maintain student records, including attendance, grades and discipline.
- Promoting sports and skills development, and overseeing the participation of young people in sport.
- Provide First Aid and basic emergency life support, if needed.
- Coordinating and directing sporting activities.
- Team management.

**Hiring Criteria**

In order to be successful in your new role, you will need to demonstrate: **Required Qualifications & Work Experience**:

- Previous experience in BJJ instructing kids / adults.
- First Aid + CPR up to date.
- Working with Children Check

**Required Skills**:

- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with students of all ages.
- Have a passion for BJJ and helping others to reach their potential.
- Flexibility to work at different locations (Erina and Tuggerah);
- Flexibility to work on weekends.
