Our friendly team at Erina Skin Cancer Clinic are looking for Part Time Practice Nurse (RN only) to join us at our family practice and skin cancer clinic on the coast. Flexible working hours and great work conditions Suitable for mother with young school kids A LITTLE BIT ABOUT US… Located at the center of Erina with great exposure Well located within busy business hub next to radiology & allied health Plenty of on-site parking and close access to public transport RACGP accreditation Teaching Practice for the University of Newcastle and GP Synergy Modern facilities Spacious, fully computerised rooms 7 skin cancer doctors and GPs Allied Health Qualified & Pathology on-site Team environment with friendly and supportive administration staff Established & loyal patient base Expanding practice, with room for more allied health services Flexible working hours and great work conditions TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS POSITION, YOU WILL NEED TO… Australian Citizen or Resident Registered Nurse Only (Nurse Immuniser is preferrable) Completion of COVID vaccination training Experience with GP / skin cancer clinic is preferable Happy to give immunisations to patients of all aged groups Quick learner with self initiatives Follow the ideas and flow from the practice manager Successful candidate will be responsible for: Helping with patient assessments, including updating the patient file, taking measurements and vital signs Sending recalls and reminders for prevention activities or bringing patients back into the clinic for review or to discuss test results with the doctors Helping with stock control and ordering supplies Happy to administer Immunisations which can be part of the national immunisation program or even travel vaccines in some clinics Providing wound care services Assisting GPs with small procedures Helping to coordinate patient referrals with other providers Providing patient education on a range of different topics Providing patient with Cosmetic Laser Treatments (Training Provided) Supporting patients with chronic disease management usually by helping create management plans and monitoring progress towards their health goals Help the practice with the different accreditation activities Be involved in clinical discussions and contribute ideas towards improving the quality of practice services Interested in this exciting opportunity?
