About the role
DCS Manufacturing is an Australian owned company manufacturing high end sewer jetting trucks. We are seeking a Service Leader with strong mechanical aptitude to join our agile team in Dingley Village, VIC. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing all service requirements for jetting and vacuum trucks, ensuring efficient and seamless delivery of services to our valued customers.
What you'll be doing Lead the day-to-day operations of the service department. Liaise with customers to understand their needs and provide exceptional service Leading hands on maintenance and repair of customer vehicles, ensuring high-quality work and timely completion Provide leadership and mentorship to the service team, fostering a positive and cooperative work environment Implement and maintain efficient processes and procedures to optimise departmental performance.
What we're looking for Extensive experience (5+ years) in a mechanical service role or similar role within the automotive industry Solid technical knowledge and understanding of automotive systems and repairs Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build robust relationships with clients Demonstrated leadership and people skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Relevant qualifications in automotive or a related field
