Bilby3D – Sales & Operations Supervisor (Springvale)

Bilby3D is one of Australia’s leading suppliers of qualified and industrial 3D printing and 3D scanning solutions, working with engineers, manufacturers, schools, universities, designers, and businesses across Australia and New Zealand. We are seeking a reliable and capable Sales & Operations Supervisor to support the day-to-day running of our Melbourne location and assist with customer sales, logistics, and operational coordination. This role is suited to someone with previous experience in customer service, operations, sales support, warehouse coordination, retail supervision, or similar roles where responsibility and independent decision-making were required. You will work closely with management and help oversee daily operations, particularly when senior staff are offsite. We are looking for someone mature, organised, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of tasks and responsibilities. About the Role This is a varied hands-on role combining customer service, sales support, operational coordination, logistics, and general business administration within the advanced manufacturing industry. Responsibilities Include
- Assisting customers via phone, email, online, and in person
- Preparing quotations and following up customer enquiries
- Helping customers choose suitable 3D printing and scanning solutions for their application
- Processing orders, invoices, and payments
- Coordinating incoming and outgoing freight and courier bookings
- Receiving, checking, documenting, and organising incoming stock
- Assisting with stock control and maintaining accurate records
- Coordinating with technical staff regarding repairs, demonstrations, and customer jobs
- Helping maintain showroom presentation and workspace organisation
- Assisting with improving internal systems and workflows
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the Sydney office
- Opening, closing, and independently supervising operations when required What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a supervisory, operations, administration, sales support, customer service, or logistics role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- High attention to detail
- Confidence speaking with customers and suppliers
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
- A practical, proactive mindset with good problem-solving ability
- Interest in technology, engineering, manufacturing, or 3D printing is highly regarded Highly Regarded
- Experience with 3D printers, 3D scanners, CAD, or related technologies
- Experience in B2B sales or customer service
- Experience coordinating freight or warehouse operations
